Christoph Kramer is a German professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach. He was born on February 19, 1991, in Solingen, Germany, and has had a successful career both at the club and international levels.

Early Career and Borussia Mönchengladbach

Kramer began his football career with local club BV Gräfrath before joining Bayer 04 Leverkusen's youth academy at the age of nine. He made his Bundesliga debut for Leverkusen in 2011 and spent several seasons with the club, making over 100 appearances. In 2016, he joined Borussia Mönchengladbach on loan and has been a key player for the club ever since.

International Career

Kramer made his debut for the German national team in 2014 and was part of the squad that won the FIFA World Cup that year.
