After a period in opposition, he was re-elected in 2009 and has remained in office ever since, making him Israel's longest-serving Prime Minister.

Policies and Beliefs

Netanyahu's policies have been shaped by his strong belief in Zionism and his commitment to Israel's security. He has advocated for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, but has also taken a hard line on security issues, including the construction of a security barrier along the West Bank.
